ENSURED researcher Clara Weinhardt presented project findings on EU trade policy and WTO reform in Indonesia.

In early June 2026, ENSURED researcher Clara Weinhardt presented findings from three ongoing research projects on EU trade policy at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) in Jakarta as part of the university's Brownbag Series. The presentation included work from a current ENSURED paper co-authored with Michal Parízek, prepared for a special issue of the Journal of European Public Policy.

On June 10, Clara also contributed to the International Trade Law Workshop organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Udayana (Bali) in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of International Law Lecturers (ISILL). The three-day workshop – that also featured a keynote speech by the Indonesian Minister for Trade Dr. Budi Santoso – was designed to strengthen the capacity of international trade law lecturers and legal practitioners across Indonesia. Clara's online contribution drew directly on ENSURED findings on WTO reform, connecting project research to the workshop's focus on WTO law and dispute settlement.

A podcast recording on WTO reform, dynamics, and China's role is also forthcoming. Stay tunded! Details will be shared once the episode is live.
